Summer is here, which means it’s time once again for one of our favorite club traditions, the South Bay Lapidary & Mineral Society Ice Cream Social!

Take a break from the summer heat and join us for an evening of good company, great conversations, and plenty of ice cream. Whether you’re into minerals, fossils, lapidary arts, jewelry making, or simply enjoy meeting fellow rock enthusiasts, this is a relaxed and fun gathering for everyone.

Build Your Perfect Sundae

The club will provide ice cream, bowls, napkins, and utensils. We’d love your help making the topping table something special, so feel free to bring along a favorite topping to share with a few others.

Classic sprinkles, chocolate sauce, fruit, cookies, candies, nuts, or a secret family favorite are all welcome additions to the ice cream bar.

Bring Something Interesting

Have a new find from the field? A favorite mineral specimen? A cabochon, carving, or jewelry piece you’ve recently finished? Bring it along if you’d like to show it off and talk about it with fellow members.

And if you don’t have anything to bring, that’s perfectly fine too. Some of the best conversations start with a simple question and a little curiosity.

Join Us!

Members, guests, friends, and families are all welcome. Come enjoy some ice cream, share your latest discoveries, and spend an evening with fellow rock enthusiasts before the busy summer season rolls on.

We hope to see you there for a sweet night of rocks, conversation, and community.
