SBLMS show postcard for Facebook

The South Bay Lapidary and Mineral Society annual rock show ‘Nature’s Treasures’ has been an annual event in the city of Torrance, CA since 1950. Located in the Ken Miller Civic Center off of Torrance Blvd, our show includes free entry, and is fun for the whole family. The show has a wide range of displays and activities. It includes guest artisan demonstrators, silent auctions, raffle tickets, and a variety of rough and polished stones that are for sale. Our club members also share with guests display cases that include their latest lapidary work, mineral specimens, jewelry, and collections. The show also features a fluorescent mineral display, and gold panning outside on the patio. But best of all, we always have a full kitchen featuring tasty treats, so come hungry! Since we are a non-profit club, everything we present is from our fabulous in house experts. Proceeds from the show benefit the enrichment of our club and the Wally Ford Geology Scholarship at El Camino College.
