Quartzsite is 36.3 mi.² of one huge rock hounding “candy store” that includes several huge rock swap meets, tools and other stuff swap meet, RV swap meet, the absolutely humongous Quartzsite Emporium, Gem & Mineral shops, antiques galore, anything Arizona that you can think of, tons of BLM land to camp in for free, RV, campgrounds, regular campgrounds, motels, restaurants, the world, famous Quartzsite Yacht Club and a lot of people in jeans and T-shirts with their club logos on them.

  1. I sure miss all the fun I had with the SBLMS. I still have a bit of the material I collected from the first field trip back in 1974. “Copper World Mine. I think Mary Sharp is the only one left in the club that I knew. Please say hi to her. And May God bless the entire club members…
